ABOUT

Helping You Find
Your Way Back to Each Other

I have a passion for working with couples and individuals who want to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and find their way back to connection.

Relationships can become complicated. Communication breaks down, hurt builds, and the person who once felt like your teammate can begin to feel like the person you are fighting against.

I believe that underneath many of those conflicts are two people who simply want to feel heard, seen, understood, and important to one another.

Hi, I’m Trista Stueart

Throughout my work, I have had the privilege of walking alongside people as they navigate some of the most difficult parts of relationships, from communication breakdowns and years of disconnection to betrayal, loss of trust, intimacy concerns, and questions about what comes next.

One of the things I am most passionate about is helping couples slow down the patterns that keep them disconnected and begin seeing the person on the other side of the conflict differently.

Sometimes that means repairing significant hurts or rebuilding trust. Other times, it means learning to communicate differently, reconnect emotionally and physically, or simply remember what brought you together in the first place.

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK WITH ME

A Warm, Collaborative, and Practical Approach

I believe the therapy room should be a place where both people have a voice and neither partner feels as though I am choosing sides.

Research-Based Approaches

I incorporate Gottman Method interventions, along with emotionally focused and attachment-based work.

Research-Based.
Relationally Focused.

My approach combines research-based methods with a deeper understanding of the emotions and needs that shape our relationships. I have completed Levels 1 and 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and incorporate emotionally focused and attachment-based approaches into my work. Together, these approaches allow us to look beyond the conflict itself, strengthen communication, and better understand what may be happening beneath the surface.

LET’S FIND YOUR WAY FORWARD

You Don’t Have to Figure It Out Alone

Whether you’re trying to repair what has been hurt, rebuild what has been lost, strengthen what you already have, or simply find your way back to one another, you don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out.

Sometimes the relationship you miss isn’t gone. It has simply gotten buried beneath the hurt, stress, and patterns you’ve both learned along the way.
